My experience with Viewsonic M1 projector
Saw Viewsonic M1 at one of the principal company events.
Instantly liked the product, as I felt this eliminates the need for laptop for demonstrating my products.
For one-to-one interaction with a client, a laptop is ideal (?).
With the Viewsonic M1 projector, just the projector is sufficient.
I can carry it in my office bag.
Up to this point it is good.
What about convenience:
- This projector has built-in battery.
- Charge lasts for about 2 to 3 hours.
- No need to plan for carrying an extension socket or power cable.
- Has built-in speakers, memory, can play from pen drive.
What else do I need to present an idea/presentation to a small audience?
Wireless presentation from smartphone?
It can be done by using HDMI dongle (optional accessory). The dongle connects to HDMI port.
Wireless dongle needs 5 Volts power supply,
For this, the product has been designed with a USB type A power supply port.
Other specifications:

The brightness specification may not look impressive, but it is more than sufficient for the purpose for which it is meant.
Can be used for:
- Presentation to a small audience in an indoor environment.
- Image can be projected in any direction.
- At home, it can be used for watching a sporting event or a movie(with low lighting), with appropriate input.
Image can be projected on to a screen or a blank wall.

An upgraded version of this product is M1 Pro.
